International Oversight Committee

The UT System has charged the UTSA International Oversight Committee with evaluating any proposed university activity or travel to areas in which the U.S. Department of State has issued a Travel Warning, or where significant health and/or safety concerns are present.

The committee is charged to closely review and recommend to the Executive Vice Provost the approval or disapproval of all requests for exception to travel restrictions to areas listed on the UTSA Restricted Regions List. Those who wish to travel to a restricted region must apply using the appropriate restricted region form.

The U.S. Department of State also maintains a travel resources web portal.
