Welcome

Welcome to The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) International Gateway. This site provides a glimpse into internationalization efforts at UTSA.

As the interim Vice Provost for International Initiatives, my goal is to increase UTSA’s visibility around the world while ensuring the university community cultivates a learning environment that is open to world engagement. Our office does this by serving the international community on campus, supporting international faculty and visiting scholars, sending students abroad and building partnerships with universities around the world. UTSA has 90 cooperation agreements throughout the world and students from just as many countries.

I believe our commitment to internationalization, multiculturalism and diversity is a contributing factor to UTSA’s status as one of the top four young universities in the U.S., as named by Times Higher Education.

It’s my pleasure to work alongside UTSA students, faculty and staff who are making their mark through a commitment to international education, research and outreach. Let us know if you have any questions about potential partnerships, research, or would like to visit our campus.
