Announcement: Delayed start to the spring 2025 semester due to inclement weather

Dear International Students,

We hope this message finds you well. As we prepare to begin the spring semester, your safety and well-being remain our top priority.
Due to the forecasted freezing temperatures and wintry conditions in the San Antonio area, UTSA has decided to delay the start of the spring semester until Wednesday, January 22.
Here are a few important updates for you:
  • No Classes on Tuesday, January 21: All classes, whether online or in-person, will be canceled on this date.
  • Office Operations: International Student and Scholar Services will be closed for in-person services on Tuesday, January 21, but we will remain fully operational remotely.
For any urgent matters or questions, please feel free to email us at international.services@utsa.edu, and we will respond as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this weather-related schedule change. Make sure to check your UTSA email and/or UTSA official social media pages for up-to-date information related to the start of the semester.
